Beyond the Classroom

Beyond the taught curriculum, The Stewart Bilingual School runs a varied programme of extra-curricular activities during the school day including outdoor skills, trips, speakers, arts, music, drama and other extra-curricular projects to enrich the educational experience of its pupils. We take full advantage of our location in North Kensington to organise regular day trips to London’s art galleries, theatres, concerts, parks, museums and historic locations.

Music

Our children have weekly music classes delivered by a specialist teacher who introduces them to rhythm, tempo as well as musical history, musical instruments and great composers. Our school choir performs twice a year as part of our Christmas and end of year plays. Individual tuition in piano, guitar and recorder is available on the school premises.

Arts

Our pupils have weekly arts classes in which they are introduced to a wide range of creative techniques as well as art history and cultural influences.

Sports

During the school year, we have specialist teachers to deliver a variety of sports, including: football, dance, tennis, yoga, gymnastics,  and athletics.
