The Stewart Bilingual School
Welcome to "Cherry Orchard"!
Russian club Cherry Orchard at The Stewart Bilingual School is an educational establishment for the promotion of Russian language, literature and Russian culture in the UK for children from 0 - 18 years of age.
“Cherry Orchard” offers education in different forms such as English-Russian nursery “Vishenka”, afterschool Russian language club, Saturday complementary weekend schools, holiday camps and private tutoring.
Our aim is to provide a new generation of Russian speaking children living in Britain with a multifaceted education program in both languages. We strongly believe it will help them become productive members of Russian-British society in the UK as well as to easily integrate into any Russian-speaking environment in the future.

What we offer
"VISHENKA" NURSERY
Vishenka nursery setting is open Monday to Friday for children aged 2-4 years old whether from a Russian-speaking family or from a family that wishes to teach their children Russian. We offer high quality, child-centered Russian-speaking day care and preschool program combining both UK Early Years Foundation Stage Statutory framework and traditional methods of Russian early childhood education.
AFTER SCHOOL CLUB
Children who would like to study Monday to Friday or to attend some extra classes in addition to Saturday school may enjoy the benefits of the after school club. Apart from Russian and Literature classes, we offer a variety of workshops. Not only will your child acquire essential knowledge and communicate with Russian speaking kids but also learn how to plan his day, manage his time and switch from one language to another.
SATURDAY SCHOOL
Saturday school 'Cherry Orchard' runs a wide range of classes including Russian, Literature, Singing, Drama, Art, Natural Science and Maths. All the subjects are taught in Russian by Russian speaking teachers. Our objective is to cover a vast spectrum of pupils' interests, to build their knowledge and develop their skills. Change of activities helps maintain children's interest in the Russian school.
HOLIDAY CAMP
Term-time holidays are the most long-desired and exciting time for children. However, for some parents it means hard work. Whom to leave the children with and how to entertain them? In our Russian club 'Cherry Orchard' by Stewart Bilingual School we organise school camps for our children to spend unforgettable time with Russian speaking friends and teachers, improve vocabulary and learn about Russian culture and traditions.
